Hi everyone! How many of you enjoy celebrating your loved ones birthdays? For us, this has been one of our most favored traditions throughout the years in college. Living with multiple girls under one household meant it was always someone’s birthday next.
The world has been a nightmare the past few months, and most especially in the recent weeks due to the unprecedented outbreak of COVID-19. With federal and local governments imposing travel bans, limiting social gatherings up to 10 people, and closing all nonessential public entities in California, social distancing is in full effect.
It’s no question we are all struggling to keep ourselves entertained indoors. So, what are we doing while? If you’re guessing sitting on the couch, drinking wine, and binge watching tv all day, you’re absolutely right.
With so many shows out there on different streaming channels,it’s hard to condense everything we watch into one post. Instead, we’ll be sharing what we are currently watching and what we think is worthwhile. Friends and family like to say we are harsh critics when it comes to music, movies, and tv shows but we like to call it “having good taste.”
Let’s cut to it. Here’s what to watch during social distancing:
When you think of Paris, what comes to mind? The Eiffel Tower? The famous Louvre? Brie and baguettes? Or is it the warm, mouth-watering chocolate croissants found at almost every street? It’s all the above.
The main attractions of Paris are enough to convince anyone to book a ticket to this romantic city. What they don’t tell you is that despite it’s high tourist attraction, this city also has hidden gems. As much as we love exploring the famous sights that make a city endearing, we are keen on discovering more of the unknown places.
So, here’s how to exceed being an average tourist and instead, explore the hidden gems of Paris.
New York City. The ultimate city that never sleeps, the city with all of the lights, the city we all dream about from movies. If you’re like us and grew up watching Gossip Girl or Sex & the City as your girly guilty pleasure, then NYC was always on top of your list of places to visit. This city is home to thousands of the coolest restaurants, hip bars, museums, landmarks, and the list drags on. The number of things (yes, free too) you could do here are endless.
So, Bali, huh? Either you just watched Eat Pray Love for the first time or you have seen breathtaking images all over your social media channels, Bali is calling your name. I don’t blame you – it was calling ours too.
After researching when to visit Bali, we decided to pull the trigger. After college graduation, we and our friends spontaneously booked a trip to Bali exploring these three areas: Ubud, Canggu, and Uluwatu.
As women — especially being one of those who craves the outdoors, possesses a naturally adventurous spirit, and has no problem getting down and dirty with nature — it’s inevitable to feel like we constantly have something to prove.
